Workers in Stockton Throw Out Union/Extortionists

There are courageous workers in Stockton.  They have told the union taking money from the families to pound sand, to get lost.

“Rather than put an end to the long-running, contentious relationship between management and some workers, the decertification vote is another chapter in the six-year battle between the north Stockton senior living complex and Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West.

Wednesday’s vote ended with 93 workers voting to sever ties with the union and 77 voting to keep SEIU-UHW as their representative.”

Like the Alinsky protege’s they are, the unions will sue, cry fraud and demand the right to the workers paychecks.

Wonder when the well educated teachers in California will throw off the yolk of unions owning them and the students in their classroom?

Schroeder said the vote speaks for the majority of O’Connor Woods employees represented by the union. Nearly 50 percent of those employees signed a petition calling for Wednesday’s decertification vote, well above the 30 percent minimum required by the NLRB.
Regarding the “confusion” cited by the union on the day of the election, Schroeder said that for several weeks there has been a noro virus circulating among the senior residents of O’Connor Woods. “There have been precautions taken which have now diminished the virus significantly. Why couldn’t the voters go to one of the other voting sites?”
He added that management has attended numerous training sessions to avoid violating labor practices and was “less involved in showing our side than we were in previous labor elections,” a reference to Brennan’s comment. He could not confirm that an employee was fired Wednesday since he was not involved in that activity.
