I received this email from Common Cause today. They are proud of their efforts to make it easier for ACORN and others to game the system with phony voter registrations.

Here is how it works—from your den you register your dog.  Then you apply for your dog to be a Permanent Absentee voter.  The dog gets the ballot, your friendly crook fills it out, sends it in and another phony voter is cast—with no one ever seeing if your dog actually exists.

California Common Cause has worked closely with state and local elections officials and partner organizations to develop tools and programs to promote this new election registration technology. California has taken an important step in to make voting accessible, free and fair for eligible voters”

Common Cause left out a word.  “Free and fair—AND FRAUDULENT—yes for eligible voters—but who is really checking”?

Common Cause proud of online voter registration

California Common Cause,  9/19/12

Dear Stephen,

Today, California’s Secretary of State launched the state’s first ever online voter registration system. Thanks to California Common Cause members like you, we were able to spearhead efforts to get this important bill passed and put in place in time for the November elections.

Tell your friends, family and neighbors –- you can now register to vote in your PJs! The new online voter registration system is up and running today, and you can register or update your voter information online.

California Common Cause has worked closely with state and local elections officials and partner organizations to develop tools and programs to promote this new election registration technology. California has taken an important step in to make voting accessible, free and fair for eligible voters. Not only that, but this system will save the state millions of dollars.

Check out the new online voter registration site – share it with your friends and family and encourage them to register online today!

We expect millions of voters — whether they are young, on the move, or strapped for time — to use this innovative system over the next few years. With online voter registration ready in time for the November election, California has taken a forward-thinking stand to increase voter registration and participation.

Thanks for all you do,

Kathay Feng
and the rest of the team at California Common Cause

Is California not a lost cause . . they have gone so far toward socialism their only way back is go broke which is coming as the many levels of government must face the bonds and bills. They must also face the pensions they promised that they can not pay . . . cities and counties are all going to go BK sooner or later.

So if I get a female dog in heat is there any age limit on registering the puppies to vote? Probably a litter of a dozen nor so. They do not need an education or be able to sign their names, do they? And nobody cares so it is not illegal. right? And the SEIU lawyers all agree to that?
