Was this just a computer error, that 110 year old are registered to vote in North Carolina?

“Of course, this isn’t necessarily evidence of vote theft. It might just be a massively failed voter registration system. Though it is interesting that the largest number of them just happen to be Democrats. But what ever is the case, it is utterly impossible to have this many centenarian plus voters still able to get out of their wheelchairs or retirement homes and have a run down to the polling place.”

But if you want to live long, this is a great State. “Two voters — and, yes, they’ve already voted in early voting — are over 150! One in Gaston County is 154 and another in Granville County is an astonishing 160!

Democrats do believe the dead have civil rights—this might be a part of their policy.

No. Car. Finds 2,214 Registered Voters 110 Years of Age & Older

-By Warner Todd Huston, Publius Forum, 10/25/12

Forget hunting for the Fountain of Youth. Apparently all one need do to live forever is to register to vote Democrat in North Carolina because for the 2012 General Election, the voters roll shows that the Tar Heel State has 2,214 voters that are 110-years-old! Would you wonder if there is some voter fraud going on?

And wouldn’t you know it, most of them are Democrats, too. Not only that, but they seem to live mostly in four Democrat-controlled counties. Unsurprisingly, some of these aged voters have already voted absentee.

Further, many are even older than 110. In fact, it seems that NC has an awful lot of voters that are 112, too. The Carolina Transparency project did a review of the voter rolls this year and found that there are 631 Democrats who are 112 or older. By contrast the poor Republicans can only find 229 over 112 voters in the state (and “unaffiliated” found 39).

But it gets more amazing. Two voters — and, yes, they’ve already voted in early voting — are over 150! One in Gaston County is 154 and another in Granville County is an astonishing 160!

Of course, this isn’t necessarily evidence of vote theft. It might just be a massively failed voter registration system. Though it is interesting that the largest number of them just happen to be Democrats. But what ever is the case, it is utterly impossible to have this many centenarian plus voters still able to get out of their wheelchairs or retirement homes and have a run down to the polling place.

Erik Soderstrom also looked into some of these voting records. The “official” excuse from Democrats is that these are false results of 112-year-old voters made before the system was corrected. See, the claim is that voters with an unknown birthdate in the system was automatically assigned a birthdate of January 1, 1900. Soderstrom, however, finds that this really isn’t true at least with some of the voter records he tracked down.

In any case, something certainly seems amiss in North Carolina.
