• EPA: Tax Cows $175 Each—No Joke

  The EPA wants to add a "cow fart" tax on your cheeseburger. They believe that by adding to consumer costs we will Save the Planet. What a joke. We know that the ice packs are back to 1979 levels, the temperature is dropping and all signs show that Global Warming was an Al Gore gimmick, first for politics, then to make money and fame.

  How much in added food consumer food costs? Do these folks understand there is a price to be paid for adherence to radical, junk science? We the people pay for policies meant for those who do not

  Let us get back to facts and helping families. We help them by ending this proposal, firing those responsible and closing the Department that came up with it. We need a scorched earth policy towards those who have no common sense and still get a government check.

  This is something you should call talk radio back, write letters to the editors and make sure you tell your Congress members that this Department needs to be zero’d out in the next budget.

  Would you pay a Global Warming surcharge for your Big Mac? Are you willing to create a tax that would, over night, put 1,000,000 farms out of business?

• Guns Protect National Parks

  Criminals do not pay attention to the rules or the law. If they want to rape, kill or mug, they will. In a National Park the chances of a cop or Park Ranger being around is almost nil. So, do you want to be a victim?

  The U.S. Interior Department wants you to be safe or at least able to protect yourself from criminals who want to do you harm.

  This is a good policy, too bad there are otherwise decent people who prefer more victims. "Sen. Dianne Feinstein wrote in a an Op-Ed that "park visitors expect a safe and enjoyable experience - not loaded guns and stray bullets." Is she talking about the victims being unable to protect themselves? No, she is worried the criminals will have to duck when their victims shoot back.
