You will note the Democrats passed a “budget” last Friday. Actually, they passed a General Fund budget of a little over $92 billion. The total budget, the total amount from all accounts being spent, is over $210 billion. The real budget is a minimum of $210 billion, not the General Fund budget of $92 billion.

This is what you need to know. California Treasurer Bill Lockyer, a Democrat admits he will need to “finance” $10 billion of the General Fund budget. In other words that is the planned deficit, to start. Then you have a minimum of $43 billion also owed.

“It should be noted that Lockyer bonded $5.9 billion, without authorization, to cover the last deficit—while Brown stole at least $11 billion from Trust Funds, withheld $12.5 billion from government schools, failed to repay $14 billion owed the Feds so we can continue to pay unemployment checks.”

California is in a Depression and our elected officials are not being honest about the problem—and the media refuses to discuss the scope of the problem. The Brown answer? New taxes and a $200 billion choo choo. With that attitude we will never get out of the Depression.

Editorial: CA Treasurer Lockyer Admits July 1, 2012 General Fund Budget Deficit Starts At $10 Billion—Forgets $43 Billion in Deficits.

Editorial by Stephen Frank, California Political News and Views, 6/18/12

Last Friday night Democrat Speaker Perez and Democrat Senate Leader Steinberg declared that the $92 billion budget they just passed, without a single Republican vote was “balanced”. It should be noted to “balance” the budget they openly made up $8 billion in revenues from a tax the people have not approved and can not till November 6, 2012.

Aside from that lie, the budget includes welfare cuts courts have previously called illegal.

The biggest blow, that the mainstream media is trying hard to ignore is the Democrat State Treasurer Bill Lockyer admitted in a letter to State Senators that the budget just passed was $10 billion in deficit.

This is the major portion of the letter he sent on June 15, 2012 to four Senators:

Dear Senators:

This is in response to your June 14, 2012 letter.

Based on current market conditions, I believe the budget proposal before the Legislature today is “FINNANCEABLE “ (EMPHSASIS ADDED). If the plan became law my office would be able to go to the market and complete the borrowing needed to meet the State’s FY 2012-13 cash flow needs, currently estimated at $10 billion.”

First, he admits the DEFICIT starts at $10 billion. If he could borrow $20 billion, would the Democrats spend $20 billion we do not have?

Second, where is the authorization to borrow $10 billion, plus interest to cover the lie called a “balanced budget”?

Third, he is admitting that Perez and Steinberg lied. Is that enough to use Prop. 25 and stop the salary payments to the crooked legislators (crooked—knowing you lie on a legal matter)?

Fourth, this Democrat budget is based on policy not in place. When the people vote NO on higher taxes (look how hard it is for the cancer/leftist industry to pass a tax on tobacco) do we have to borrow more money? Brown think he can cut up to $6 billion from government schools if his tax fails. He is using children as hostages to assure more jobs leave California and more parents are unemployed. Brown wants us to vote our children vs. our jobs. He is a sick puppy forcing good people to make such a decision. Where is his leadership?

It should be noted that Lockyer bonded $5.9 billion, without authorization, to cover the last deficit—while Brown stole at least $11 billion from Trust Funds, withheld $12.5 billion from government schools, failed to repay $14 billion owed the Feds so we can continue to pay unemployment checks.

The bigger issue is the media. The Lockyer letter was distributed by the legislators-to my knowledge not a single major media outlet has reported on this or the fact that budget is $10 billion in deficit. All we hear is that the Governor is still negotiating over about $2 billion in spending.

At some point the people of California will revolt against blatant lies and corruption of Democrat controlled Sacramento. High taxes, Brown wants more. Bad policies, a State Agency passes regulations to dramatically increase the price of energy. Need jobs for young people? Obama is trying to add 800,000 illegal aliens to fight for limited jobs against honest American citizens.

California is in a Depression. The United States is in a Recession. Thanks to lies about budget and the outcomes of policies, family and jobs are endangered.

Through all of this Jerry Brown still wants to spend $200 billion for a choo choo train.

Have we gone mad keeping people like him in office?

California is the liberal petri dish in America right now. It has the Dream Act, Cap and Trade and Democrat controlled budgets and policies. I think all Conservatives should leave California so the Liberal philosophy can be unrestricted. Let’s see how Liberals do, should be interesting.

Take your pick: 1) This is what you get when you hire a lawyer to be an accountant; Or 2) This what you get when you hire a professional politician to be an accountant. In either case, Lockyer his unqualified to hold the office. Well done, voters.
