Imagine me telling folks about something both Senator Coleman AND Joe Trippi are involved with!!
“I have a favor to ask. “For The People” launched in open Beta last week, and I am looking for people to play the game and provide feedback on the game. Although the official launch will take place next January and we expect to add a lot of new features between now and then, this is an exclusive opportunity to provide your valuable input and help influence how the game takes shape.
Please visit “For The People” on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/forthepeoplegame) and press the “Like” button, which will allow you to get updates about the game as new features are added and also participate in the game’s daily polls. Then please press the “Play Game” button and play the game a bit and see how you stack up! Again, please email any comments or suggestions that you have to [email protected]. “
Try it—I enjoy it and think you will also.
Play For The People and November Madness!!
From Senator Norm Coleman, EXCLUSIVE TO THE CALIFORNIA POLITICAL NEWS AND VIEWS, 10/22/12
Just in time for the upcoming elections, Rocket Surgeon Entertainment is launching two exciting new political games: “For the People: Fantasy Politics” and “November Madness.“ I serve on Rocket Surgeon’s Board of Advisors along with former Senator Evan Bayh, former Senator Rudy Boschwitz and Joe Trippi.
“For The People – Fantasy Politics” is an exciting new 3D political game for Facebook where the player becomes the fictional 436th Member of the House of Representatives and move up the ranks to eventually become Speaker of the House. This engaging game allows you to see how you would do as a U.S. Representative and share results with your friends. It also provides a social forum to help improve the way politics takes place in our country.
“For the People” is the first game based on real-world Congressional politics. The game’s statistical model includes three years of real Congressional voting records designed to ensure that the game is highly realistic. It also recreates in a fun, challenging way the dilemma faced by Members of Congress who are forced to sponsor and vote on legislation while simultaneously running for re-election.

This feedback will allow Rocket Surgeon to improve the game and user experience.
“November Madness” (http://novmadness.com/) is a free nationwide contest to see who can correctly predict the most winners in the 2012 federal elections– including the Presidential race and Senate and House races across the country. Players earn one point for each correct pick they make. The player with the most points will win a new Apple iPad 64GB 4G. First runner-up will receive a new Samsung Galaxy S III, while the second runner-up will get a year-long subscription to Spotify Premium. In addition, the top ten scorers in the East, South, Midwest and West regions of the U.S. will each receive a $50 iTunes gift card. Plus everyone who takes part in November Madness will receive in-game rewards in the “For The People” game.
November Madness also features a partnership with Real Clear Politics, allowing players to access polling information on key races to help them with their picks.
In addition, if you like wht you see, please let your friends know about For The People and November Madness. We are trying to get as many people as possible playing the game now and building our online community. We have experienced lots of enthusiasm from Facebook, in DC, game communities and elsewhere for this platform, and I hope that you become part of it!
