When you see a GOP candidate receive money from Defending Main Street Super PAC Inc, you know the candidate is being backed by unions and other forces trying to divide the Republican Party. This is a PAC not dedicated to elected Republicans, it is dedicated to defeating conservatives—they love the McCains and hate the Cruz’. There is a movement withing the GOP to be more like the Democrats—if you hate ObamaCare we can fix it a little so you can tolerate it—is their effort.
That is why those types supported by this PAC denounce conservatives for wanting to repeal Obamacare—instead wanted the web site to work as the fix.

Does anybody believe the money the SEIU, the CTA and other unions have given the California Republican Party is meant to elect Republicans? Think they want to elect more McClintocks—or do they want to elect more GOP’ers that want amnesty, PLA’s and higher taxes?
Labor Union PAC Gives $150K to Republican Business-Oriented Super PAC

The political action committee (PAC) of an international labor union has given $150,000 to a new Republican business-oriented Super PAC.
The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) PAC has reported it gave $150,000 on 10/31 to Defending Main Street Super PAC Inc., a Republican business-oriented group that supports center-Right members of Congress and candidates. The group, led by former Rep. Steve LaTourette, R-Ohio, wants to support candidates that are being attacked by very conservative groups, such as Freedomworks, the Club for Growth and Heritage Action. The Super PAC makes independent expenditures only.
Through the end of September, the Laborer’s PAC had given $57,500 directly to Republican candidates. They had given $478,500 to Democrats. View campaign finance profile.
The Laborer’s PAC also gave $75,000 to the Democratic-oriented Super PAC, House Majority PAC, and $144,000 to federal candidates and political committees.
In other filings covering October activity, the Engineers Political Education Committee (EPEC), the PAC of the Int’l. Union of Operating Engineers, reported it gave $174,000 to federal candidates and committees. The Teamsters’ PAC, D.R.I.V.E., gave $124,500. The United Parcel Service Inc. PAC gave $106,704. The General Electric Company PAC reported it gave $103,500.
ActBlue reported it had receipts of $7,310,820 and disbursements of $6,712,729, leaving $8,635,283 cash on hand as of 10/31. The National Rfile Association of America Political Victory Fund reported it had receipts of $983,674 and disbursements of $473,936, leaving $11,206,563 cash on hand. The Senate Conservatives Fund reported it had receipts of $982,753 and disbursements of $1,498,221, leaving $1,126,988 cash on hand as of 10/31.
