I bet most of the readers of the California Political News and Views never heard of the UCLA Labor Institute, the Feminist Studies Department (promoting a pornographic War on Women) at UC Santa Barbara or the Center of Right Wing Studies at Cal Berkeley—promoting totalitarianism and openly anti-freedom, both here in the United States and around the world. You would think this Berkeley Center was for the benefit of Vladimir Putin, not California families.
Our campuses, K-12 and colleges are being used as centers of Leftist ideology, dumbing down education, and twisting math, English, science and history into radical views and values—as if they were the holy grail. At what point will the American public revolt against this abuse of students and society by radicals in charge of the legislatures and the campuses? Why do we tolerate abusive people on our campuses—including professors that try to beat up young girls—with NO academic repercussions?
We live in a sick society—and we allow it. I do not blame the radicals for trying to take advantage of freedom. I blame society for allowing others to steal and cheat them, without a whimper.

UCLA is the home of the “Labor Institute” This is a $6 million a year operation, literally owned and controlled by the AFL-CIO. This “Institute” provides the academic research (one sided) to promote unions, unemployment and monopolies by those that demand bribes from workers, if they want to work.
From their web site, so you understand this is ONLY a union operation:
“To start with, the Institute and its units act locally in many domains. For instance, in one set of recent trainings, IRLE’s Labor Occupational Safety and Health Program (LOSH) put groups of workers through the Worker Occupational Health and Safety Specialist course in Santa Ana, San Diego, and here in Los Angeles (at the Esperanza Housing Corporation). IRLE’s Labor Center partnered with the Children’s Defense Fund and the Miguel Contreras Foundation to run a summer Freedom School for high-school immigrant youth at the Miguel Contreras Learning Complex. The Labor Center also helped draft and make the case for new California laws punishing wage theft and establishing a Domestic Worker Bill of Rights. IRLE’s Human Resource Round Table (HARRT) hosted HR leaders from area businesses and organizations at their Annual Retreat on “HR Agility: Are You Ready for What’s Next?””
UC Santa Barbara is the home of the “Feminist Studies Department” infamous for having a professor that teaches pornography for black women is good, “queer studies” and sex work, as a profession. The professor Mirelle Miller-Young is a known violent person, assaulting a young girl on campus. She is now being charged with four counts by the DA—but the University supports her—in fact, the Vice Chancellor sent a message to all students denouncing conservatives, the pro-life movement, evangelicals and all those that disagree with him. Not a single word against the use of violence on campus by students or faculty.
Add UC Berkeley as a tax paid facility used as a propaganda center ala Radio Moscow. Berkeley is the home of the “Center for Right Wing Studies”. From its mission message, “The mission of the Center, which is housed at the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues (ISSI), is twofold: first, to identify right-wing movements, flesh out their twentieth-century histories (how they aligned and how they survived) while isolating their novel aspects in the 21st century; and second, to develop and apply principles of how right-wing thought, ideology and organizational capacities operate to understand the state of the contemporary Right and identify its likely directions and successes. In addition to its research activities, the Center publishes findings, offers mini-grants, fellowships and training opportunities to Berkeley students, and brings together leading scholars through conferences, colloquia, and other public events in order to share new research and engage in interdisciplinary dialog related to this field of study.”
You will note that UC Berkeley, not ANY UC campus has a “Center for LEFT Wing Studies”. Does this explain why in California government schools are sometimes education efforts and always propaganda centers? Using a government campus as a front, the reports and testimony of the administrators and staff of these radical centers seem like non-partisan academic responses, not the ideological pure Leftism that it espouses. All of this on the taxpayer’s dime—with tax dollars being used against the families and businesses of the State.
This is a Center that would more accurately be called ”Center for Anti-Freedom Studies”
These are Centers and Departments that glorify pornography, promotes violence, steal jobs, and creates false images of those who believe in freedom. Promotes extortion and blackmail—all in the name of academic freedom and “research”.
A few years ago the Republicans in the legislature tried to get rid of the $6 million for the Labor Center at UCLA. In the end it was but a bargaining chip in budget negotiations. So, we the people continue to fund a Center for less than 10% of the people of the State, in order to control the pocket books and jobs of the other 90%. When will this end? When will the people of California demand government school educate instead of propagandize? Why should our money be used to promote intolerance, moral degradations and theft of jobs?
The first step is knowing they exist—now you know, what are you going to do about it?
